Many of our clients have found that our approach to creating flexible, practical designs cuts down on the time and costs involved in gaining acceptance on planning permission.
Although each project is unique in its elements, the basic process remains the same.
Once the planning application is submitted, we’ll consult with you and liaise with the Planning Officer until the plans are approved. This stage can take up to 6-8 weeks or longer if alterations to plans are required.
Once planning permission is granted, we’ll create a second set of more detailed technical drawings which will meet building regulations and submit these plans to either the Local Authority or building control company. This part of the process takes a further 2 weeks. Our detailed plans can also be used for submitting to builders to obtain quotes for the work
